Absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant! The presentation was on another level – fascinating and Instagram-worthy. Every bite was a burst of freshness, and the overall taste was simply delightful. I consider myself lucky to have tried the uni, and it was a real treat. Super Impressed. Amazing Food. Fast Friendly Service. Clean Fancy Atmosphere. The Crab Rangoon was great. We had the Seared Salmon, Hurricane, Baby Lobster, and California Crab Rolls were all amazing. Service was expert and classy. Loved the Lounge Music that was playing the whole time too.

Great good and very fresh fish. All the rolls were great. Got several options and some Nigiri. Loved it all. Also got the jasmine hot tea. If recommend this place for a date or nice night for dinner.. Not cheap, but fairly priced and fantastic service. Atmosphere was clean and music wasn't too loud. Everyone was very friendly, I will return.

The building isn't the nicest, it's not bad it's just Oly. That being said the staff here are fantastic. I am from the southwest desert and sushi there was not a thing. I brought my family here as they love sushi. The sushi here was good, no it was fantastic. Staff recommended rolls that were delicious. All stuff i would not have ordered myself. Stuff like soft shelled crab and eel. The food was killer. I enjoyed the service and food so much I drove the kids back to eat here. We will be back again.

I have spent a good amount of my time in asian countries due to military travel. Sushi places in the states are always close but miss what makes sushi great. The rolls here are amazing. They use real crab and not some imitation mayo mix. The nigiri was some of the freshest I have ever had. If you are tired of run of the mill sushi places and really want something amazing and fresh then try this place out. I will becoming back for sure.

After countless visits to Asahi Sushi, I figured it was finally time to leave a review—this place deserves all the praise it gets and more. Every time we come in, we’re blown away by the quality and care that goes into each dish. The sushi is truly handcrafted and tailored to perfection—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. (Signature Asahi Tower pictured) A standout for our family is the baked scallop roll. It’s nothing short of magical. In fact, it’s impossible to get a picture of it because it disappears the moment it hits the table—seriously, it’s that good! The staff are warm and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere makes every visit feel special. Whether you’re a sushi enthusiast or just getting into it, Asahi Sushi is a gem in downtown Olympia that never disappoints. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience here, even better than we were expecting. Prices were reasonable and the food was excellent. We got the gyoza appetizer, which came with 7 pieces but we ate a few before I could get a picture. We also ordered the hamachi nigiri and sake Don, both of which were beautifully presented. The salmon was very good and the rice was seasoned perfectly to complement it. Come here if you want good Japanese food with a chill, lounge like vibe. No notes, 10/10.

Fish always fresh and best quality. Went twice in a span of a week! Service is great and very friendly as well—accompanied by the cozy & clean ambience. I make sure to revisit whenever I'm in WA—Highly recommended!!
